The Sunday Game this week will be an hour or so of Gangbang DM on the Newskool server and then the remainder of the night will be Bagman on the East Coast server.

DukeBurger Death Match Map

Here is the port of the DukeBurger map from Duke Nukem 3D made by Joyeuse. It's still currently in beta (b56).

It's a largish map set in and around a Duke Burger joint.

It uses all the original textures, some Duke sounds, and even some map objects from Duke like the health pickups.

You can download DukeBurger (b56) from here.

It also contains control points so can be used in the power2/killapin mods.

Thursday Games - Crash Mod UK, Killapin and Crash Mod USA 19th June

The Thursday games this week will be an hour of Crash Mod on the UK Newskool server, 15 minutes of Killapin on Killa's server to test another new version, and then the remainder of the night will be Crash mod on the Boiler Room Crash server.

Playing Kingpin on Linux

Lutris is popular game platform for installing games on Linux (including Kingpin).

Kingpin In Other Games - Quake III Arena

Back in November of 1999 Jack Frost released a death match map for Kingpin called The Roman Baths

A month later he released a version for Quake III Arena. I recently found this map on an old archive and have uploaded it to kingpin.info.

You can grab it from here.

Just extract/unzip the jfrost.pak3 file to your Quake3/base3 folder and the pak3 file will be placed in the correct location.

Roarke Kingpin Blog

The Rourke brothers run a small blog/webpage dedicated mostly to Kingpin.

It features some tutorials, prefabs for mappers, sounds, textures, and even some photos of urban decay that may inspire some mappers.
