Kingpin Review From PC Zone June 1999
Elfor sent me a link to the June 1999 issue of PC Zone. They dedicated the cover to Kingpin and did an in depth review of the game as well (starting on page 76).
On thing that I noticed is they said there are four multiplayer modes - gangbang and team deathmatch but also CTF! lol and something called cashmatch where you steal money from dead players and the winner at the end of the match is the player with the most money.

New Player Model - Female Coffy
In the early years of Kingpin EvilBunny released the first custom player model for Kingpin called Anthea.
Not only was it the first but it was an original model (most player models in Kingpin are converted from other games).
He also created another model called Coffy but left the Kingpin scene before releasing it.
Luckily I saw him in a server rcently and got him to send me the model.
Coffe is another original model. Coffe is a black female, has full Kingpin weapon support but uses a bat instead of the pipe. She also has sunglasses and raybans as extras.
EvilBunny only made a couple of skins so I asked Rat to make a few more which he did.
You can download the Coffy model from here.
Just extract the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct location (main/players/female_coffy)
Thursday Game Of Himten And Crash Mod
The Thursday Game this week will be an hour or so of Hitmen Mod and then the remainder of the night will be Crash mod.

Space Checkmate Death Match Map
Now that Willdeharp is back playing Kingpin it's a good time to post about a deathmatch map he made several years ago.
Space Checkmate is a simple map that is a chessboard in space. It has low gravity and three levels of boards, each one smaller the the one below it.
The main board has all the player spawns and lots of weapons and items, the middle board has full armour and the adrenaline and the top baord has the HMG and cooling mod.
The map is a lot of fun and you can download Space Checkmate from here.
There are also two earlier versions - checkmate which is just a big open chessboard and chessmatev2 which is the same board onlly enclosed by a wall.
Server update 3
Just letting you know all the bugs on the website should be fixed. After the last update.
Also added some extra fixes to the website so it should still keep workirg with a other server update.
If that happens again.
And added some extra stuff to the website what probably only admins see :)
But you should enable to see the visitor counter is back :)
