It's Halloween season so it's a perfect time to play
Acc's fantastic horror themed single player mission called
Barren Meadow.
Acc's description of the mission:-
Barren Meadow is a single-player unit for Kingpin following most of the original design choices: it puts the emphasis on shooting, rewards exploration, has a hub connecting multiple action maps and many options to defeat your adversaries (from weapon modifications to hirable henchmen). It features spooky environments and foes, ideal for a spooky Halloween fix. The campaign isn't that long and will last you for an hour to an hour and a half (maybe more on harder difficulties).

If you have been reading the recent posts here, you will have seen that
Monkey Harris has been updating his MH Kingpin patch to support hires graphics for Kingpin.
He has now supplied another test version of his patch which you can get from
here.
I noticed that Kingpin's image resampling hadn't been modified for this hi-res stuff yet, which meant it would crash when reducing a very wide image to a not quite so wide image (eg. 4096 to 2048 px). Here's a patch update to fix that.
Make sure you also have the current released version from
here.
Just extract the files into your Kingpin folder. Extract the test version last and overwrite the existing wsock32.dll

The Thursday Game this week will be the Halloween mod. The first hour or so will be Halloween Death Match then the remainder of the night will be Halloween CTF.
