Custom Sounds For Player Models

Just a reminder that over thirty of the custom player models now support custom sounds. Grab the Custom Models Pack and the MH Kingpin patch and you're good to go.

Just unzip/extract the files to your kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.

Once the Models Pack and MH Patch is installed you will see a new entry in the Options Menu - Custom Model Sounds Yes/No.

Set this to Yes then you will hear custom sounds for the player models that have them.

If you get tired of the sounds, you just change the Custom Model Sound option to No and you won't hear them anymore.

Sunday Games - Bagman UK, Killapin and Bagman USA 8th June

The Sunday games this week will be an hour of Bagman on the UK Newskool server, 30 minutes of Killapin on Killa's server, and then the remainder of the night will be Bagman on the East Coast USA Snitch Slappa server.

To summarize:-

Rest of the night Bagman (US East Coast Snitch Slappa server)

Another Killapin Mod Update

and - have done another update to the Killapin Mod.

For those unfamiliar with Killapin it is a Capture and Hold mod with a twist (each team has a boss).

Each map has between one and three control points and the teams must capture those control points to gain points and be first to reach the points limit to win the round.

You also gain points by killing other team's players and bosses.

The team boss spawns with 200 hit points, a crowbar and a grappling hook (harpoon). The rest of the team spawn near the boss. If a team member stands near the boss, he will receive health and ammo unless already full. The mod has added a radar and a star in the radar shows where the boss is to make him easier to find if you need health/ammo.

The boss is somewhat vulnerable during normal play (if the boss dies the entire team also dies and then they all respawn). But each round has what's called 'Boss Time' where the team bosses are invulnerable to normal players and can only be killed by other bosses.

There are several new and updated features, and these are the main ones:-

Boss on boss kills, losing boss -10 points, winning boss no points
2 points for minion on Boss kills.

----------------Boss timer-----------------
Boss on boss kills, winning boss 25 points, losing boss no points.
Only bosses can kill other bosses
1 point for other kills.

--------------Control points---------------
1 point for every second that an X marked
position is held.

------------Boss special keys--------------
Y / X / Q = follow / wait / attack commands
2 (Pistol) = use harpoon

The updated version will be tested during Sundays Games.

Bagman Map Uploaded - Team Open

Elfor alerted me that we didn't have the Team Open Bagman map so I have uploaded it.

Team Open is a map from the early 2000's made by [AB]Chais.

It's in the two forts style and has an open layout. It features mainly grey concrete textures and has 18 player spawns.

It has two weapon caches plus an extra HMG and Rocket Launcher in each base and plenty of armour and health. There are 'drop to floor errors' for some shells and rockets but there is still plenty of ammo.

Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.

Boiler Room Deathmatch Server Updated

has loaded al the custom player models onto the Boiler Room DM server.

So, if you join the server and someone is playing with a player model you don't have it will automatically download to you.

There are many custom player models in Kingpin so if you want to grab them all here they are:-

Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.

Kingpin Speedruns.

If you like to do speed runs through the single player campaign you might like to know there is a Kingpin Speedrun page at speedrun.com. You can check it out here.

There are also several YouTube videos of players doing speedruns and Twitch streams as well.

I believe the current record is 24:57!

There is also a Kingpin Speedrun Discord which you can join here.

The Kingpin Has Lost Weight

After receiving a request has just created a Thug Version of the Kingpin's body skin. As most of you would know the Kingpin uses the Runt model.
