I have done a remake of the old Frag'n'die2 map called Goat's Arena (fragndie7.bsp).
I have made it larger by adding side rooms, retextured the main room and added platforms to get to the top of the crates that are in the main room. I also updated the number and location of weapons and other items.
I always liked Frag'n'die2 and I think this one is even better.

You can download the GunRace beta client files from the server but to save your self some time you can download them from here.
Just extract all files to your kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations (kingpin/gunrace_b1).
Thuis should be a fun, action packed, night so I hope you can all make it for a game :)
**Update 24th May** Hypov8 has done a small update to the mod ready for testing on Thursday. The Shotgun no longer uses the modbox to make it rapid fire but is rapid fire by default.
Monkey Harris has released another new version of his Kingpin patch.
A summary of the new features:-
Dynamic lighting tweaks, including much improved performance so that it can now be enabled on Intel GPUs without causing lag.
Improved lighting of see-through surfaces (eg. grills/fences/banners) so that they blend in better with what's around them.
Effects such as flames/sparks/blood/etc are now visible through translucent water/windows.
Shadows are shaded instead of pitch-black.
Game state data is compressed instead of dropped when it would otherwise be too large to send.
Downloads are compressed for greater speed and lower bandwidth usage.
Non-US keyboard layouts are supported for text input, and the cursor can be moved to modify the entered text.
The mouse wheel can be used to scroll the console.
Key binds are retained for each mod.
Screenshots can be saved in JPEG format. The filename is also displayed.
New lasers for instagib mode, including support for different colours.

Just unzip the files to your Kingpin folder.
Then double click on the patchcfg.cfg file to set your custom resolution and several other options and enable the patch.

***Update 25th May*** There was a small issue with the new version that affected the Steam version of Kingpin. When applying the patch it said you had an invalid Kingpin.exe and you needed to install the v1.21 patch which was incorrect. This has been fixed by Monkey Harris and an updated version has been released.
Elfor has released an updated version of the M4A1 colt replacement tommygun model.
This mod replaces the Tommy Gun with a Duke Nukem Forever styled version of the M4A1.
Based on the M4A1 weapon model by HypoV8 for GunRace, originally from Counter-Strike.
There is also a set of custom crosshairs included in the zipfile from Duke3D and Shadow Warrior.

You can download the DukeNukem M4A1 from here.
If you already have a pak8 and/or a pak9 file in your main folder then extract the new pak files to a temporary folder somewhere and rename them to another number such as pak2, pak3 etc which you don't already have. Then copy them to your kingpin/main folder.

I have updated the old team_fucked_b1 map that was made by AB|Mike.
The main change is that I have added Juniors to the map for players who use directional lighting. So now the players and weapons wont appear dark.
I also changed the two small rooms behind the safe bags to one larger room and I removed the grenade launcher from the map and the rocket launchers from the two small spawn rooms. Plus I added wooden platforms up to the tops of the crates so its easier to get to where the armour is and I also made various other little fixes and changes.
The changes make the map a little less chaotic.
It's a smallish frantic Bagman map that is very popular.

Btw if you played the Bagman game last Sunday and downlaoded the team_fucked_2018_b2 map you can just rename it to team_fucked_2018 as I didn't make any further changes.
