As more old players come back to Kingpin some people may be looking for their old clan skins.

We have a clan skin files section which may contain the ones people are looking for.

Custom Skin For The Harpoon

We host a custom skin for the Harpoon that was made by Micketh. The harpoon is the grappling hook in the Capture the Flag and Power2 mods.

The files are in a pak2 file and just need to be extracted/unzipped to your kingpin/ctf and/or kingpin/power2 folders.

Star Wars Skin Pack

There have been many Star Wars character skins made for the thug and runt models in Kingpin. They are all available in a Star Wars skin pack. The pack contains nine thug skins (including three different Darth Maul skins) and two skins for the runt model.

You can grab the Star Wars skin pack from here. 

Just extract/unzip all the files to your kingpin folder.

There is a readme included which lists all the skins, the skin names and how to easily switch to the skin you want to use.

The easiest way to select these skins is type this into the console:-

skin "male_thug/xxx xxx xxx" or skin "male_runt/xxx xxx xxx"

where xxx is the head, body and legs name so for the Bobbafett thug skin it would be -

skin "male_thug/7bf 7bf 7bf"

Chrome Weapon Skins

Do you like shiney things? If so you will like the reflective weapon skins which,I believe, were created by {GT}Knight.

These skins give the weapons a reflective, or chrome, effect. They are in a pak file (pak3).

You can download the chrome skins from here.

Just extract/unzip the pak3 file to your kingpin/main folder.

If you already have a pak3 file just rename it to another name such as pak4, pak5 etc (up to pak9). 

BloodyBorg Death Match Map Added To The Archive

I have added the Bloodyborg death match map to our maps archive. I assume it was made by {GT}Bloody.

It's a medium to large map with a failry simple layout. It uses custom textures which are to give it the feeling of a Borg ship, I guess, from the Star Trek universe.

You can download Bloodyborg from here.

Just extract all files to your kingpin folder.

By the way, we also host a skin pack of Star Trek characters. The pack contains seven skins for the thug, bitch and Anthea models. There is Picard and Giordi, from Next Generation and Janeway, Tuvok, Harry Kim and 7of9 from Voyager. There is also a thug skin of a Borg drone, who are one of the main enemies in Star Trek. The pack also contains a readme with details of all the skins, how to install them and how to load them.

The 7of9 skin is for the Anthea model so if you don't already have the model you can download the model from here.

Just extract the Anthea files to your kingpin/main/players folder.

Undead Fred Skin Pack

Here is an older skin pack of thug skins made by Undead Fred.

Everyone loves zombies and this pack has several zombie skins. The included skins are an Undead Fred skin, other zombie skins, a Jason Voorhees skin, some band t-shirt and a Space Ghost skin. All for the thug model.

Check the read me for skin names.

Claire Redfield Bitch Skin

Here is a Claire Redfield skin for the bitch model. Claire Redfiled is a character from the Resident Evil games.

Just extract all files to your Kingpoin folder.

The skin names are head_6cr, body_6cr, legs_6cr.

To change to this skin pull down the console and type in - skin "female_bitch/6cr 6cr 6cr".

Mafia Thug Skins

There is a Mafia Skin Pack which contains two skins for the thug model made by Don Corleone. It contains an Italian Mafia skin and a Russian Mafia skin.

There is also another Russian Mafia thug skin which we host in our skins archive and it is a lot different from the one above. The author of this one is unknown unfortunately.

Just extract all files to your kingpin folder.

The easiest way to swich to any of these skins is to do the following:-

Start Kingpin and pull down the console (tilde key ~)

Type in - skin "male_thug/xxx xxx xxx" where xxx are the skin names (i.e to load the Russian Mafia thug skin you would type in - skin "male_thug/rus rus rus")

Monster Thug Skin Pack

We have been hosting 11 x 9mb skin packs of all known thug skins that were released from 1999 - 2001 which were originally zipped up and released by Truzenzuzex.

As most people now have much better internet speeds that they did back then I have consolidated them all into one zipfile of about 100mb.

If you want to add a tonne of thug skins to your kingpin folder then just grab the monster thug pack from here.

Just extract all files to your kingpin folder.

Nam Runt Skin

When I was looking for the mrblooby skin I also found this runt skin clled Nam. I thought it looked pretty good.

I have updated the zip file so you only need to extract the files to your kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct location.
